We started Monkeyjump before there was gmail, before there was wordpress, before there was the cloud, before there was such a thing as social networks or social media. We started it with the concept that you should have a network of friends with good connections, and you should have a decent webmail interface. And when you reached out to them, they would welcome you to wherever they were, and at least offer you a couch to sleep on while you explored their city. It was like Facebook meets Linkedin meets AirBNB.
